poor frost

frost was sick last sunday. actually shes not really sick but thom discovered that she was bleeding.


so being the very responsible owner(s) that we are, we took her to the vet. the clinic that she usually goes wasnt open on sun. so we had to hunt around for an animal clinic. if you think finding a GP clinic that opens on weekends is difficult, finding an animal clinic is even worse. heng we called power and she gave me the name clinic that dext brought his dog to. and heng heng the clinic opens on sunday.


that was the first time i went to an animal clinic sial.


anyway, the vet said that frost got an infection. probably she kena insect bite and because of the irritation she bite on her skin till it bled. she say she has to shave that part of her wound and scrape some of her skin to check for some other skin disease (cant remember the name) that husky are prone to have.


the shaving process was bad. thom was holding frost and she kept trying to break free from his grip. the scraping part was worst. by the end of everything, thoms tshirt was full of frosts fur.


after everything, they apply medicine on her and said they need to put the cone shaped thingy on her head to prevent her from licking away the medicine.


and she looks so cute with that lamp shade on her head. she kept banging into things when she walk. so funny. so i took some pics.




if you think being a doctor (GP) can earn big bucks, then you are wrong. a vet earns more!! a mere visit to the vet which lasted shorter than 20 mins costs hundred over bucks.

consultation charges is $30. and the vet never speak to us for more than 10 sentences.


anyway frost's wound is looking much better now. :)
