My GM send us (me and colleague) an email few days back asking us to do a consolidation report. At the end of the mail, he wrote : this report is not urgent, but please submit ASAP.


Can anybody interpret wat is not urgent but submit ASAP? Hate this type of ambiguous instructions. Give us a dateline and we will give it to you by hook or by crook. If you say not urgent, then I will take my own sweet time to do it.


Some of the info needs input from our PRC counterpart. Colleague asked me to email them to get the info from them. I have no problem with that. Then colleague say: u write like this... Blah blah blah... And told me word for word how I should pen my email. KNN! If you are going to tell me word for word how I should compose the mail, then u might as well send the mail yourself?? Stupid right? If u are so lazy that u wanna push the job to me, which I am ok with, then dun teach me wat to do. KNN.


Last Friday my manager told me that I need to go to our PRC office to attend my project meeting and I have to stay there for 10 freaking days. Cant imagine going there for 10 days. I have not been away from home so far and so long and all by myself before. What if I cant sleep at night? What if my company hostel room I am assigned to is haunted? What if the security there is very bad? Thousands of what ifs surface in my mind. Of course I have to admit that this chance is a good exposure and maybe a chance for me to learn to take care of myself.


Thom was worried for me too.


Today my manager told me that my GM says I can be exempted from the meeting (hurray!!) but I would have to attend another meeting in Nov. but that meeting is only about 2 to 3 days. Haha. Heng ah. Think momo and thom has been praying that I dun have to go aboard for so long and their prayers were answered. Mine too. :)
