I was wrong. I was so so so so wrong when I said that ���ipod nano is ok nia compared to zen neeon���. infact nothing ever comes close to nano.


After using zen neeon for one week, this is my verdict for it.

Player becomes very slow to response (about 1-2 min lag time) after the (approximately) 700th. Sometimes it hangs also. Note that I did not even fully utilise the 5GB space.


So yesterday thom and I took the player back to the shop to complain about the problem. And the sales person response:

U load too many songs already lah.
siao ah. If I dun wan to load so many songs then I buy 5GB for wat?? And 5GB can supposedly load 2500 songs. I only have 882 songs okie.

U cannot one shot load all the songs in the player
again, siao ah.. If I dun one shot load off then how? Load 100 songs per time? So if I have 1000 songs I need to load 10 times? U think I so free?

Finally, after checking with the technician, they say:

This is not the player faulty. It is the software problem. We can upgrade the software for you. Or if you want we can give you a 1 to 1 exchange as well, but you will still encounter the same problem.

DUH. Software problem. Thom and I are unwillingly to upgrade the software. What if the problem still exist after upgrading? Or maybe the lag dun happen after the 700th song after the upgrade but happen after the 1500th song?


Seriously I dun expect creative to be so fucked up. So what if your player have a very big ram? The processor cannot even support! And its 5GB only. Not say 30 or 60GB.


So thom say he dun wan the creative mp3 le and top up some $$ and got a 2GB black ipod nano. He knows I have been secretly eyeing nano but always felt that it is too costly. Who needs 5 GB of songs anyway.


And I must say apple products are so so so so so so sooooo pretty. Even the packaging is so classy. Not to mention the colour lcd background, the turn wheel, the earphones. Heck, even the usb connector cable is sooooo pretty.


Last night while I was playing with my new toy, polishing the chrome part, thom said: I cant believe I bought a ipod nano. Cause just about 1 mth back when nano was launched, thom commented: siao ah, pay so much for a 2GB mp3 player. I rather buy a Ipod mini.


And I said: I cant believe I am holding a ipod nano. Yeah, given my character, I would never ever spend so much $$ on a mp3 player. But hor when you hold the player in your hands, you will feel the $$ is well spent.


this is the player that everybody is talking about it, everybody wants it and now, i OWN it!! :) :) :)

But alas, while I was polishing the player last nigh, I found some scratches on the player. So thom took it back this afternoon to exchange. No point paying so much for a player with scratches right?? But they do not have any stock for the black colour now. They only have white colour. BOO HOO. I like black more. So I have to wait till new stock comes in, which is about 2-3 weeks.


So now I can only wait. Sigh, the feeling is like can see cannot touch, so near yet so far. But good things must wait. In 2-3 weeks time I can lay my hands on my sleek, chic black ipod nano.


Ohhh. I cant wait. Praying hard that the stock comes in fast.


once again, thanks my darling. i know you will never ever splurge this kind of money on yourself but you spend it on me without even considering twice, so long as i like it. in fact, when we were buying mp3 player last week, thom was saying he wanted to get a nano le but i refused cause i felt its so expensive.
