my name is PELVIS

Wah lau eh, my good name has been tarnished by my very the good sis.


She told the whole wide world on her blog that I named myself PELAS.


I feel a need to clarify myself.


Long long time ago, when I was a sweet young innocent little girl (actually now is still sweet young and innocent but not a little girl but a chio bu) studying in pri 3 or 4 (I cannot remember). At that time, sis and I decided (for what absurb reason I cant remember now) to name ourselves after a body part.


Sis chose to name herself NEH (hokkien for breast) for what reasons I cant remember also. Either because she got big neh at that time or she was hoping to have big neh. :p


And I also began to think which part of our body I should name myself after.


I remembered that at that time, momo bought a book about human body, and so I turned to the book for reference. And I remembered one of the pages was a full coloured human body with the different body parts labelled. And I saw our pi gu aka buttok (at that time the only other word that I knew for buttok is backside) is also called PELVIS. And I thought : hey PELVIS sounds like a not bad name. rhymes with ELVIS some more. And moreover it sounds like a very chim word. And sis is breast, I am backside, very matching!!


So I excitedly ran to sis and told her smirkly that I have found a name for myself. And a very nice sounding and chim some more. And so she asked me what is that name I have chosen for myself. But alas, in my excitement of finding such a nice name, I have forgotten how to pronounce it. I only remembered it starts with a P and it represents our buttok.


And being the chek arc sis, my sis refused to tell me the word (though she knows. See how evil she is) and she dun allow me to go check the book. She insisted that I tell her on the spot. So in my frenzy, I blurted out : my name is PELAS (should be PELVIS instead).


And since then, I have been the butt of the joke. She will always laugh at me for calling myself PELAS and refused to acknowledge that it should be PELVIS.


So yeah, till today she still call me PELAS (although I refused to acknowledge) and I call her NEH.
