Charlie and the chocolate factory

One of my favorite authors when I was in pri school was roahl dahl. I read a number of his books like : The BFG, The witches, James and the Giant Peach, James and the Great Glass Elevator and of cause, the now showing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.


Hence when I first knew that they were making this story into a film, I was rather excited.


One fine day, when I was at the cinema with thom, we walked past the movie poster of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I thought : who is that ah gua.


gasp!! OMG!!! horros of horros!!!

Then to my horror of horrors, I realized that that supposedly ah gua is willy wonker in the story, who is played by johnny depp!!



WAH KAU. HOLY SHIT!! KANINA!! WHEN DID WILLY WONKER BECOME A CHAO AH GUA?


Though it was many years back when I read the story book, but I dun remember that willy wonker is an ah gua or even ah gua looking lor. I remembered he was quite an eccentric character only. But eccentric not equal to ah gua right???


the more I see the movie poster, trailer the more I bey tahan. Why oh why must they transform johnny depp into a chao ah gua??? Especially when I grew up reading roal dahl books, it is very traumatizing, u know....

And because of this, I decided not to watch the movie. Want me to pay $8 to see ah gua, I rather go changi see. Free, and more chio some more.
