public transport etiquette

Singaporeans are a rude bunch. Even as a blog, I know that there are some public etiquettes that we should adhere to, especially in public, to make us a more gracious country to live in.

So I shall list a set of rules that these ugly Singaporeans should adhere to, when taking public transport (bus, mrt) especially in the morning or peak period.


1. thou shall not block the doorway when the mrt/bus stops, especially when thou has a big ass.

It is irritating enough when you have to push your way to get to the door. And it is even more irritating when at the doorway, there is one fat ass standing there, and the ass is so big it blocks the WHOLE door.

If you only block half, at least pple can squeeze through the other half. So if you know you have a big ass, please stay away from the door cause you are blocking the WHOLE exit.


2. thou shall only move to the exit when the vehicle has stopped moving.

Stop squeezing your way to the exit when the vehicle is still moving. You can balance in a moving vehicle doesn���t means that the other commuters have the same balancing skills like you.

And why are you in such a hurry to get to the exit?? When the mrt/bus stops, it stops for awhile and you will have ample time to move ur big fat ass out of the vehicle. So stop shoving. Its irritating.


3. thou shall not yawn in the vehicle, especially if thou has bad breath.

Ever experience when the person sitting beside you keeps yawning and yawning? Sure there are some days we feel especially tired but if u need to yawn, please do it quietly.

Don���t yawn till the whole cabin/bus can hear you yawning. Or open your mouth so big that one can stuff a fuji apple into your smelly mouth.


4. thou shall not lean on the metal bars, especially in a crowded train.

The bars are for holding on to, not for your big fat ass to lean on.



And finally,


5. thou shall not even take the public transport if thou:

A. has body odor
B. has not bathed for days
C. has just finished school and the last class is PE lesson
D. is a chao recruit who just had your exercise in the jungle
E. has just finished 5 bottles of tiger
F. is an indian/bagadesh

The mrt/bus is an enclosed space and the smell will be trapped and diffused in the air till the WHOLE vehicle is filled with your smell. So please, if u are any of the above, just be considerate and walk home.





The above 5 points are what I have concluded as a blog and if I as a blog know about all these basic etiquette, you humans who dun should be ashamed of yourself.
