down with flu today. so damn sway. i have used up 3 packets of tissue and probably look like rudolf now.

who is rudolf, u ask?? have u no childhood??

anyway, im always down with flu, at least once a mth. like woman have menses like that. except that my flu doesnt lasts 7 days (thank god for that)



had lunch with johnny and yvonne today. i was bz sneezing away. and dumb johnny asked me a redundant que. pple who asks redundant queations are all dumb. he asked me if i was not feeling well.

i told him i had flu. isnt that fucking obvious?? and he said: oh then u must take mc already.

and i told u he is fucking feigning concern. cause even before we finished our lunch, he told me that he has made an apointment at one of the camps and i was to go with him. DUH. didnt he just asked me to take mc and rest?? then now he says we have an appt in the late aftnoon. so the mc and rest part is just to patronise me only lah. bloody hell.

anyway, the reason y we had lunch together was also because johnny wanted to tell us about our increment scheme. but me and yvonne were too engrossed discussing about PORTUGAL vs GREECE. in the end, johnny has to suggest that we change seats.

ok, so johnny said he has decided to give me a 20% increment, which is $360 more than my current pay and $60 more than what the new co is offering me.


but i have more or less made up my mind that i will not stay. and besides i have already signed the LOA from my new company. so its no turning back now, right?? but $60 more. who will say no to extra $$?? even if its only $60.


and talking about signing the LOA. that happened on sat. went to my new office on sat. the exec GM/VP (what a weird dseignation! but i shall not comment any further since this guy will be my future big boss) showed me around the office and i quite like the structure. it was an open concept office, which means no privacy, and lesser (or even NO) MSN.

but the office was pretty big and there was a pantry, and even has a fridge. ok, no big hairy deal about a pantry but u have to put urself in my shoes and understand that my current office does even have a pantry. and my current office does not look like an office at all!!! one step into the office u will see desks of different sizes and styles, some with PC, some without. lots of samples hanging on both sides of the walls. its pretty difficult to describe but its not the usual office. and how i longed for a 'normal' office.


and there was a director room, which has lazy chairs, sofas and i can also see hard liquor on the shelves. truely like the director's office u always see on tv serials.


so, should i take the extra $60?? johnny seems to think that i will definately stay. what gives him the idea. he actually said: i dunno how u want to tell the other side lah. and i said: NO, I need to consider your offer also. i dun want to give you a commited answer yet.


back to sat, after signing the LOA, i went for the big renoma hunt. matt lah, wanted to buy more of the black renoma singlets that he always wore. he went to afew departmental stores but cant find the size that he wanted. so i undertook the task of combing orchard for the black renoma singlet.

i combed: isetan scotts, ck tangs, metro peragon, taka, isetan wistma.

cant find the size that he wants!!! what a ma fan man he is.


in the end, instead of buying his singlets, i ended up buying a trackpants and a lycra top. and im damn happy with my purchases.


the trackpants only costs $19.90. even cheapo than giordano!! and the quality is not those lao ya type.

and guess how much the lycra top cost?? let me give u a description first.

its a pink sleeveless lycra top. those thick, stretchable, silky smooth, water resistant lycra top. ONLY $16.90. i actually wanted to buy 2 pcs. but the colours that had my size were all ugly orbit colours.


i was ready to hit gym with my new gear today. but alas, i had to be down with this damn flu.


and i told matt that i am sick today so he had to find innovative ways to sayang me. and about an hour later, matt called me and sang:


(opps, im not susposed to write this out. but hack care lah cause matt wont have a chance to read my blog till next sat and by that time i would have posted new entries liao and he wouldnt bother to read so far back).

back to sat again, met matt for a short dinner at parkway.



my sun was a sleepy one. matt had to work. i went chanting with momo and the more i chant, the more sleepy i got. accompanied momo to TM to shop for shoes and at the same time resumed my great renoma hunt. but alas, TM dun have too. seems that the supplier has stopped bringing in that singlet liao. oh, poor matt. his uniform discontinued liao.

met matt at home and went to his momo's house for dinner. and his momo cooked my fav curry chicken. yum yum.


wow, this is a long blog. but before i end this, i have to blog about my friday chill out.


it was a FLOP!!! dun feel bad, eq, im not blaming u. ;p


well, i knocked off at around 8 and went bugis as i was susposed to meet eq and hui hui for dinner. but eq got some last min work to do and so i was left alone loitering at bugis. i loiter and loiter till ard 9, when 00 called. she said she's done with her gym liao and asked me to go citihall meet her since eq is not ready yet.

so citihall i went. and our dear 00 is another 'tu' (read in hokkien). i waited and waited. heng i went to mph and found a book that caught my interest and that made the waiting more bearable.

at 9.30, our 'tu' queen says she is packing and is walking to citilink now. and i finally met her at 10.

poor me was alone for 2 hrs. : (

aft meeting up with 00, we took a stroll to fullerton one and ended up at black angus (after numerous rounds of walking up and down along the river). we requested for the sofa seat and upon landing our butts on the soft sofa, we nua in the restaurant all the way. 00 had salad while i had a sandwhich. we ate, gossiped and waited for eq.


we left at 12.30 as the restaurant was closing. by that time, we were both tired. guess the restaurant was too cosy with the sofas and dim light. and we had no where to go. just at this time, eq called to say that she can go le. she initially told us to wait for her den we go get some drinks but 00 and i were too tired and nua by that time.


so we suggested she come fullerton and pick us and we go home together. haha. so that marks the end of my friday chill out.


dun feel bad, sis. remember u owe me a drink the nxt time round.
