my 2 yrs anniversary dinner

went to work on sat, spend the day reading blogs, and modifying my blog. i added my archives and a guest book and has updated my blogger profile as well. i am quite satisfied with my blog out look now.

and yes, as if i haven been blaberring on my blog enough, and as if u dun already kno, sat was our 2 years anniversary. there were no gifts exchange or anything, but we decided to treat ourselves for a good dinner.

no choice lah, cause our anniversary falls on mth end and by this time, we were both too broke for gifts.

so morale of the story: DUN START YOUR RELATIONSHIP AT MTH END!! ALWAYS START UR RELATIONSHIP RIGHT AFT YOUR PARTNER'S PAY DAY.

went home after work and planning to sleep, do hair and facial mask so that i'll be glowing for the night. but i was hooked on to the tv and i realised that i left the contact number of the restaurant in office and so i have to go online to check for the number and all for reservation.

we decided to dine at AL FORNO EAST COAST. more about the restaurant later.


by the time i can sleep, its already 5.45. slept till 7 and quickly went to bath and prepare. have to forgo my facial mask le. : (


we reached the restaurant at 8.30.


the food there was GOOOD!!! we each had:

a glass of red wine
seafood soup
house special seafood pasta for 2


the red wine was served in a big wine glass with a huge base. the sua ku me didnt see such a huge base wine glass before. matt told me red wine should be served in huge base glass so that we can stirr the wine to allow it to breath before we drink. white wine and champaign should be served in narrow glasses.

so i had fun stirring the wine. i wanted to compete with matt to see who can shake the glass faster but he didnt want to.


the seafood soup was good. clear and not too thick except they served wholemeal bread. but the most unforgettable dish is the

PASTA!!!

the sauce was good, not fantastic. but the sphagetti itself was fabulous, heavenly!! the noodles are very soft and smooth. way better than pasta fresca and sphagettis. by far, this is one of the best pasta i have ever eaten. till now, im still mesmerized by the taste of the sphagetti. and there were lots of ingredients!! the ingredients consists of:

1 crayfish - cut into 2
4 damn big prawns
mussles
sotongs
clams

yummy!!!

and though the serving was stated for 2, it was so big that me and matt cant finish it. i think its enough for 4 small eaters, 3 medium eaters and 2 very big eaters.



by the time we finished our meal, we were damn full. the bill amounts to $120. a bit pricey, but the we think its quite worth it. and its a once a year celebration. i told matt, we'll go there again for our 3rd year anniversary. haha.


i actually took lots of pics and wanted to post them here. but i cant seem to download the pics to my pc. dunno is it my pc problem or its the infra red sensor problem.



went CS to catch a movie aft the dinner. we watched GODSEND. it think this show is susposed to be a horror show. but its not very scary, its not very sci-fi as well, not funny at all, not thrilling, not exciting, not anything. to sum it up, its not a good show as well.

damn bloody hot day. we had a simple day. to summarised in 1 sentence:

went to the discussion meeting with matt.aft the meeting, we went mac to have some ice cream and then went to his mum's place to nua, have dinner and then went back home.



yeah, my summary is usually so good that i always ended up with shortage of words instead of having too many words. cool eh??
