EURO CUP 2004


begins this sat.


alrighty. came just in time for me to earn some money. haha.


no lah. im not an avid gambler. but betting on the game does makes it more exciting when you are watching the match. no bet no excitment.

which reminds me of world cup 2002. everyone in my office was into the world cup frenzy. johnny even pasted a big score poster on the front door. so every morning when we came into office, the first thing we will do is to update the scores first. and the common pc, which was used to surf net at that time, was always at livescore.com.

everytime the phone rang, or our hp rang or sms went off, the other pple would anticipate in silence. cause most of the time it would be our friends calling us to update us on the latest score and happening on field. haha. and me, power and carol actually won some $$ out of it. though not much, but still the feeling of winning money is damn shiok sial.

initially, i didnt know how to count the odds, like 1/2 - 1, 0.5 - 0. but after intensive tutorials from my office, i am an expert now. haha. just kidding.

lets come back to euro cup. and my fav team would be

ITALY.

yes!! and i was damn damn sad when italy lose to korea in the last w.c. i can still remember that faithful day. italy was leading. then towards the end, it was a tie. and in the end, bloody korea, chao kay long, scored the golden goal. i was watching movie with power, carol and eq that night. in the end, i was so depressed i dun understand what the movie is about.


lets see. this sat. the opening game is PORTUGAL vs GREECE

in my view, my own personal view, portugal will definately win, hands down. or feet down. im not too sure what's the odds, though. heard its 1-nil. in my opinion, can 'put'. cause greece has never been known for their soccer and portugal is home ground mah.


but i guess sunday's match would be more exciting. FRANCE vs ENGLAND.
seriously, france really lao kui (diu lian) in the last w.c. to think they were the previous euro cup winner and the previous previous w.c champions. they didnt even make it into the 2nd round of the last w.c. but all thanks to france as well that i managed to earn some $$ in their game against paraguay (issit?? i cant remember le). so how will france perform this time?? im eager to see. and there's david beckham in the game some more.

haha. i shall stop rambling abt euro cup le. im not even a soccer fan.
