this is gonna be a long one. get ready your rocking chair, a mug of coffee and some snacks.


went swimming on friday with matt. we sawm at the pool near my office. matt came to pick me up from my office and he bought me peanut butter pan cake. u know those green type with small squares and peanut butter filling?? its simple heaven. the pool was quite secluded except for a few bunch of kids (monkeys) learning swimming.

i rather share the pool with adult swimmers than those swimming lessons. cause the coaches always like to get the class to swim in the middle of the pool, obstructing the way. and kids, when they swim, they dun look who is in front. they dun give way. they swim like the bloody damn pool belongs to their father. and the most irritating thing is they like to kick so hard that you have to stay 100m away from them in other not to get splashed by them.

aft our swim, we had our dinner at went to ntuc to buy some groceries for his family. matt says that his mum has been drinking tea that should be expired in 02. so he threw it away and bought a new box of tea and some other groceries for her.

susposed to go gym on sat with power aft work but she msged me on fri night that she forgotten to take her track shoes back, so the session is cancelled. so i thought den i shall go alone.

but

received a sms from power on sat morning asking us (me, 00 and eq) if we were interested in mj. wow. that was really a tempting offer. it has been so long since the 4 of us played mj together. so i forsake my gym plans and went for the mj offer. yes, i would gladly sacrifise gym for mj. anytime!!! but too bad eq cant make it. so in the end, no mj for me. my fingers were itching at the mentioning of mj.

WHEN ARE U GOING TO JIO US FOR MJ AGAIN, SIS???

so i asked the gals if they wan kopi. initially, they said ok. but later, power said she wanna sleep (pig!!) and 00 (xiao nu ren) said her bf is coming to fetch her later. so i decided to resume my gym plans with not so strong determination. but the strong heat from the aftnoon sun made me so sleepy. i fell asleep the moment i managed to get a seat on the bus and slept all the way to the interchange. i decided that going gym in this hot and sorching weather is bad for health. so its off to home sweet home.


watched the vcd, meet joe black. junie volunteerily lend it to me when i told her brad pitt is soooooo handsome in TROY. aft the show, i went to get ready to meet matt. meeting him at tm straight. we wanted to watch shrek 2. cause lnn (lao nana) matt didnt watch shrek 1 and i have to wait for him to rent the vcd. so by the time he managed to loan the vcd, which was last week. and by now, teh showing times for shrek are like those very odd timing. so we rushed to tm, hoping to catch the 8.40 show. we reached at abt 8 and the tickets were SOLD OUT!!!

i dun believe it. the tics were actually SOLD OUT!!! i was telling matt initially that we dun have to rush cause SHREK 2 has been showing for so long already. confirm can get tics one. but i was so damn wrong. bloody hell. must be because of the sch holidays and parents are rushing to bring their kids to watch this show. bloody hell. they should bring their kids to watch harry potter mah. bring them to watch an ugly green orge for what. or better still, they should just leave their kids at home. little kids are just so irritating and they often are a nuiscance to the other pple.

so we went to watch breaking news instead. matt said it was a comedy. ok lah, there were afew funny scenes but it couldnt possibly be funnier than shrek, right??


we went home aft the show, just in time for the PORTUGAL vs GREECE game.


I AM SOOOOOO DISSAPOINTED IN PORTUGAL!!!


greece player seems to be everywhere. but the portugal players were nowhere in sight. only towards the 2nd half, you can see them put in more effort to score. but its too late by then. the whole match was so sian that i fell asleep halfway while watching.

went cineleisure on sunday with matt. we wanted to catch the 5 pm show for shrek 2. and its SOLD OUT AGAIN!!! what's with this bloody damn green orge?? y does everyone wanna watch it?? and what's with those damn bloody cinemas?? if this show is so popular that its always sold out, then shouldnt they have more timings for the show??

arrrgggghhhhh.


so in the end we ended up at a cafe for some snacks. had ice cream and nachos. the ice cream is simply heavenly. and the best thing is, it is 95% fat free!! how cool is that. mhhhhhh. we had the following flavours:

chocolate chip (yummy yummy yummy!! the chocolate chips are big soft chunks of chocolate)
white chocolate (imagine white chocolate transformed into ice cream that melts in your mouth)
mango (very refreshing)
peanut sundae (big chunks of soft peanut butter in the ice cream)
lavender passion (lavender taste. prefer the other 4 to this)

we went jalan jalan ard heeren. orchard on sunday is soooo crowded and there were lots of road shows going on. went to hmv as matt wanted to get a jazz disc. we were there for a long long timeand my legs were begining to ache. when he finally decided on the disc to buy, it was past 7 already and we had to hurry to jln besar, for his family dinner.

rgding this family dinner, what happened was, hong, matt's youngest brother said he wanted to give a treat to his parents. and so he decided to make it an early fathers' day celebration and asked matt and nic along.

so initially, nic chose this place at suntec called, the rice table. its indonesian buffet. and matt;s dad was complaining that he dun wanna take hot stuff. so in the end, the venue was changed to hillman restaurant, at kitchener road. it was quite a ulu restaurant but surprisingly, there were lots of japanese dinning there. and the menus had japanese translation as well. hmmm.

though we were susposed to meet at 7.30, and me and matt only arrived at 8, we were the first to arrive.

matt's parents were still at home!!! so there we were, 2 of us occupying a big table. the rest of the pple finally arrived abt 15 mins later and we had our dinner. we had:

steam crabs - the crabs quite small.
vege
zi bao ji (chicken wrapped in paper) - this is the best dish. thumbs up!!
prawns
fried fish
fried rice

the serving were quite small.by the end of the dinner, i wasnt really full, which is good cause theoretically, we should stop eating when we are 60% full.

so aft the dinner we asked for the bill and matt paid for it. . nic offered to pay but matt say no need lah. cause the dinner is still within our budget. and the best thing is, hong, who called for the dinner, didnt even offer to pay!! i mean i am not expecting him to pay lah. but he was the one who called us out for this dinner, and when we paid the bill, he just sits there quietly. i would expect him to offer to pay a little. no doubt matt would most probably not accept his money, but at least u offer to pay abit lah. $20 or $30 also can.

aft the dinner, his dad send me home. matt went home with me and accompanied me for awhile.


was planning to watch the FRANCE vs ENGLAND match initially. but i was too tired.

hmmm, nvm. i shall catch tonight's match. my favourite ITALY vs DENMARK.

its going to be a boring game no doubt, cause italy usually plays defensive game but its ok. because their my FAVOURITE TEAM.
