my 16 colour world

hi, ho and below.
im writing this at home.

i have finally revived 80% of my pc and i can surf the net already. but why only 80%, u might ask. well, that is because, somehow or rather, i am unable to install the driver for the vedio controller (VGA compatible) and without that damn driver, my pc only has 16 colour display :s :s

DO U KNOW HOW SUCKY IT IS TO FACE A 16-BIT COLOUR MONITER??!!??!!
at least i can surf the net and play minesweeper and have downloaded msn messanger as well. sure beats not being able to use the pc at all. but 16 colours :s

tried calling acer help desk yesterday night to confirm the model of my pc and to ask where i can dowlload the driver from cause the driver i downloaded from their website cant b used. i know calling the cust care helpline at 12.30am is a tad too late. i was expecting to hear a voice automated machine telling me to call back tomorrow. but NOOOO... this is what i heard (from what i remembered):

THANK YOU FOR CALLING ACER. WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE DAY. OUR WORKING HOURS ARE FROM 8.30AM TO 5.30PM, MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS. ALTERNATIVELY, U CAN CHOOSE TO FAX TO US AT BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH OR EMAIL US YOUR PROBLEM AT BLAH BLAH BLAH @ ACER.COM.SG

i dun believe it. THEY DUN WORK ON SATURDAYS!!! though i said before that working saturdays should be abolished, but they are the damn custumer service!! how can they work 5 days week?? how can they go enjoy their weekends leaving poor acer customers to fight their problematic pc alone?!?! what if the person needs to use his pc urgently over the weekend like me??


matt is doing closing today. i am sooooooo bored at home. think i shall go do facial mask.
