Went JB yesterday with matt, power and alvin. Dear dear knocked off early and reached my house at around 2. After that, we hurriedly went to interchange to exchange some RM and met up with power and alvin. So off we go to the woodlands check point. Mwt up woth william and evon along the way. There was a bloody jam at the checkpoint sial. And there were lots of TP. Guess there was some big shot going to M cause the causeway was closed for awhile. Anyway, upon reaching JB, there were lots if cars on the road too. The traffic was heavier than usual. Guess its because its the weekend to CNY and the M people are doing last min shopping too.
First stop was at this shopping centre, with alot of small stores. We went to the supermarket first and I bought some toothbrush. Ya, toothbrush. Haha. Then power and I went started our power shopping while matt, evon and william went to makan mc donalds. I tried some clothes, but didnt find any that I really like. The clothes there were mainly cheong clothes but since I am no more a cheongster, I decided to give up buying cheong wear. Oh ya, there was this tentage selling all the CNY goodies there and power and I had our fun time trying all the goodies. Hmmm, there was this pineapple tart that melts in your mouth, yum yum. But I didnt buy cause the more I buy, the more I will eat and the fatter I will get. After combing all the shops, power managed to get herself a pair of 3/4 and I didnt get to buy anything. :(
We left the place and the next stop was pelangni. The 1st shop we visited was VINCCI!! Our fav shoe shop and I didnt managed to get any shoes again. I thought the designs in M will be newer then the ones in S'pore but I was wrong. So, I ended up empty handed again while power bought a pair of shoes. NO Fair!!! Why is it that whenever I wanted to shop, I cant get anything but when I dun wanna shop, I see soooo many mei mei clothes that I wanna buy?? Even matt bought something. He bought a pack of bbq bacon. After that, we went for makan.
Initially we wanted to go eat seafood but the expressway was closed and so we wxplored a new town, which has a whole road of stalls. And we ordered so much food. We had: claypot rice, SIngapore hokkien mee (taste horrible. Is thed y it is named after SGP??), bbq sting ray, bbq sotong, dim sum, o-tah, bah zhang and bbq chicken wings. I didnt really eat much, just a bite here and there cause I was feeling a little unwell by the time we had dinner. I just felt very thirsty and I had 2 bottles of coke. After dinner, thats where our power activity begins.
We went to this "black store" selling fireworks. We told the person we wnated to buy fireworks and he led us up the stairs, into a small room. Both me and power were alittle hum sial. Once inside the room, the guy was busy showing us the different types of fireworks. And I began to feel very uncomfortable. I felt a little neasea and had a sudden stomachache and need to use the toilet very badly. After using the toilet, I felt much better and the guys have bought the ammunitions liao. We searched around for a suitable place and found an u-loo playground. Once I alighted from the car, I puked. And after puking, I felt so much better, got energy to play with the fireworks liao.
We bought a total of 3 different types of fireworks. Initially, we didnt know how to play, so the 1st few were flops. The fireworks was susposed to fly up to the sky, but because we sticked them to the ground, they did not take off to the sky. Then, in one experimental trial, evon litted a firework and it managed to zoom up. We were so excited but it hit a wall and bounce right into the window of a resident living nearby. I was so hum when it happend. I scared there will be an explosion on the person's house. But thankfully, there wasnt. But the resident immediately opend the window to scold us.
Later, we tried the other fireworks. There was one that after lighting, will shoot off on its own. There are altogether 100 over fireworks and it kept shooting. Then there was the one which I liked best. It shoots up into the sky, and splatters down like gold dust. Its like those that we see during NDP. Really very nice.
Then, we tried the initial flop one again but this time, we put it inside a cylinder instead of sticking it into the ground. And it really took off. Initially I was very hum and dare not light the fireworks. But some physco-ing from dear dear and the others, I decided to gove it a try. And the feeling of seeing your own litted fireworks shoot into the sky is really satisfying. And we even had 1 person lighting up 2 and we do it at the same time so that the fireworks will all go off together. It was a spectacular sight sial. There were also people gathering around look at our fireworks. After we litted our last few fireworks, we began packing up the mess and was about to leave when afew polis came to accuse us of playing with fireworks. At that time, evon, who was still holding on to the box of used fireworks quickly abandoned the fireworks. I was really hum sial so I dare not say anything. Leave the talking to the man. The guys denied flatly. The polis went to ask the bunch of kids who gathered to watch our fireworks too and heng they never bao toh us. Phew. It was really a close shave sial. Cant imagine what will happen if we really kena caught cause I know that is quite a major offence in M. After the polis left, we quickly left too and head back to SGP.
Though I didnt buy anything, but the fireworks made up for everything. It was really fun sial. My 1st experience in my whole lifetime and something I can never do in SGP.

Woke up this morning at 6+, feeling unwell and neasea again. And I puked again. And this time, there was blood in my puke. I was completely freak out that I wake my momo up. Momo and matt ask me to see a doc, but I dun wan. So I slept the whole afternoon today and till now, I didnt puke again. So i guess should be ok. But the blood still disturbs me alittle. I hope Im not having any illness or whatever. :s
