Had a power dinner last night. Hmmm, let me do a recall. Nua at home the whole afternoon. Was supposed to go buy log cake with 00 at bedok interchange initially but she called in the afternoon to say that she dun feel like going all the way to bedok interchange to buy the xmas log cake so she suggested that she check out the prima deli near her house first. Haha. So I managed to siam buying the cake. Anyway, I met power at around 7.45 and off we went to fuenti. When we reached, matt, eq and elliot were already there. So we proceeded into the restaurant and waited for 00 and Vincent to arrive. Meanwhile, power passed us a bag and asked us to dip our hands in and choose a gift. It was our door gift from Alvin. They were MR P stress balls. Haha. I wonder how many cans of Mr P Alvin has to eat to get so many. Shortly after, 00 arrived and we opened the 1st bottle of wine and ordered the food. We waited a damn long time for the food but during the meantime, we busied ourselves with photo taking and the most excited GIFT EXCHANGE. Wahaha. We started from the oldest queen, which is power. A summary of the pressies from my sisters:
Power: a therapy eye pillow. (tried and tested yesterday. Not bad, quite comfortable. But I was having block nose, so I cant really smell the lavender smell)
Eq & elliot: a keychain, a pouch, a little piggy soft toy and some coloured rubber bands
00 & Vincent: a handphone accessory with a ���diamond��� C
Alvin: a mug with a pig and some sheep on it. (heard from power that Alvin saw the pig on the cup and thought of me cause I like ah zhu.)
After the gift exchange, the appetizer (calamari) and soup were served but after that, we waited for a long long time before the main course was served. But during this time, we kept ourselves busy talking and gossiping. Our table is the noisiest. After a long long wait, the main course was served. Matt and I ordered lobster pasta meant for 2 people. I didn���t manage to finish all of it. The lobster was huge. Though the serving looks small, but it is actually very filling. After the dinner, we had our xmas log cake. The service there was very good; the waiter actually helped us cut the cake and served us. Before we ate the cake, we even sang ���we wished u a merry xmas���. Haha. After the cake, the restaurant opened a 2L of champaign for us, on the house and we all toast for a better year, and for more power cheong nights in the coming year. Haha. We called for the bill, which amounts up to $281.00 and matt signed for the bill. Sigh, our initially plan of getting Vincent to sign for the bill foiled. After settling the bill, we proceeded to MU and power gave matt a surprise mission. Cause Alvin went to merchant court to meet his friends and power asked matt to drive the car to merchant court to pick Alvin up before proceeding to MU. So matt stressed out cause the car was an auto car and he had drank quite some amount of red wine and champaign. Haha. So once in the car, I asked power to fasten her safety belt. Haha. But at the carpark exit, we realized that the carpark ticket was with Alvin. So, we had to park the car at a corner and power got Vincent to pick Alvin up instead and while waiting for Alvin to come, the bibi attendant shoved a card to matt and asked him to go pay at the autopay station and let us go. So off we proceeded to MU. Eq managed to get a table beside the toilet and MU was infested with young young ah bengs and ah lians. There were already a few monkeys dancing in front of our table. So we decided to go to the dance floor. But there too, were many small kids. Sianz. We felt so old in the crowd. Like aunties like that. But at lease there were some power songs like: love is all around and 6 gates. And since we are surrounded by bengs and lians, we joined them in their ���aiya aiya��� screaming. Haha. But everybody was tired and the crowd damn CMI so we left by 1.30.

Hmmm, both matt and I really enjoyed ourselves last night. The feeling of having dinner with your closest friends, laughing, bitching and exchanging gifts is so good. Felt so warm. Hope that 2004 will be a better for all of us. And may the royal family never part. Merry xmas.
