Got a call from matt this afternoon. The 1st thing he said was: dear, i just fought with somebody. And i got a shocked. Story: today, in the sns outlet that matt is working in, the LPO caught 2 theives. The LPO caught 1, and left the other to the store manager. The store manager was an old uncle and when he confronted the thief, the theif pushed him down and tried to get away. So matt went after the theif and caught him. But who knows this person damn stubborn. Eventhough matt caught him, he still tried to struggle. So there was some pushing and struggling and some comotion. Matt kicked that fellow and push him down so that he cannot struggle anymore, while waiting for the police to come. And even after the police came, the person tried to fight the police to get away. And for all the fight he put up, guess what he stole?? A can of beer!! Unbelievable. Dunno what's going on in these people's mind. Anyway, after hearing matt's story, though I know he was doing his job, but I wasn't all that thrilled that he engage in a fight. So I told him I want to punish him for fighting. His punishment: to chant for 30 mins. So now he is seeking appeal. He wants me to get all of you out there to vote. Am I unfair to punish him??

My view: chanting is good for him. And dear dear, you very long time never chant already lor. I am not asking him to do something impossible. I just wants him to chant more, so that he will always be cool, calm and have the wisdom of the buddha when handling things.
