CPF cut. sigh!

Did not blog yesterday because I had a small argument with matt and was feeling too lousy to blog. Anyway, nothing much happened also. I met matt for dinner at kfc yesterday night. We actually agreed not to meet cause of the argument. But later in the day, he msg me asking me whether I want to eat kfc. He knows I have craving for kfc because that Sunday I did not have enough. So I agreed. Before that, matt went to view a room at blk 24. The rent they are asking for is $220. So matt and I were discussing if the unit is available, should we take up the offer?? But we still waiting for news from the agent. We should know the outcome by tonight. If the owner is offering matt, then we will take. If not, matt will move back to woodlands. That is his house after all.
The PM is announcing the cut for CPF this afternoon. Sigh. I do not see that how cutting the CPF can help boost employment rate. The standard of living in singapore is going up. The cost of everything is going up. The only thing that is remaining stagnant is our pay. And now they even want to reduce our CPF. If they truly want to help us singaporeans, they should reduce the cost of living. Reduce the prices of housing. Reduce the transport charges. Abolish gst. These are the factors that will help, not our CPF!! The only people who benefit from the CPF cut are the bosses, who already are very rich. They do not need any access money!! Sigh, but what to do, we can only wait till 3 this afternoon to see how this whole scheme works. I hope it will affect me and matt too much. He is using his CPF to pay for his house. : (
